Two areas. One philosophy.
The name LEWINA derives from “Leben und Wohnen im Einklang mit der Natur” — living and dwelling in harmony with nature. That is exactly our aim: to create spaces in which material, craftsmanship and surroundings fit together — not side by side, but with one another.
LEWINA stands for well-thought-out building and living. We combine traditional craftsmanship with sound expertise and a clear view of the future. The focus is on durable solutions, natural building materials and spaces in which people and their animal housemates feel at home in the long term.
We do not regard the choice of building materials as an add-on, but as the foundation of our work. That is why we look at them holistically: from their origin and processing to their effects on the indoor climate and on the people who live with them.

My career is firmly rooted in the skilled trades. As a trained joiner, stair builder and carpenter, I have gained extensive practical experience to this day. In 2018 I completed my training as a carpentry foreman (Zimmererpolier), and in 2021 I qualified as a master of timber construction (Holzbaumeister). With LEWINA GmbH I am continuing the work of my previous company, Holzbau Steiner, in a new form.
For many years I have worked intensively with sustainable and ecological building materials. What matters most to me is how the choice and processing of these materials affect a healthy, pleasant indoor climate.

In 2007 I graduated from HBLA Ursprung. This was followed by training as an insurance clerk (Versicherungskaufmann) in 2010 and qualification as a master farmer (Landwirtschaftsmeister) in 2012.
Through the HAPPO Institute I am continuously involved as a project manager in research projects. The focus is on sustainable and ecological cycles and on the interplay of humans, animals and nature. I bring this varied experience to LEWINA in the areas of sales and marketing.
